About BridgeDummy
A bridge training platform built by competitive players, for competitive players
What is free, and what uses diamonds?
Curated puzzles and competitions use diamonds. Paid subscriptions provide larger diamond allowances.
Curated puzzle: 1 diamond · Daily Challenge: 10 diamonds · Weekly League: 30 diamonds
The Problem
Bridge is one of the hardest games to improve at, because you almost never learn whether your decisions were right. A sound bid can lose and a poor lead can win, so the result hides the decision behind it. Books hand you theory with no practice, and real play gives practice with no answers. On BridgeDummy every bid and every lead is graded against an objective right answer, so you see which choices were sound and which just got lucky.
Our Origins
BridgeDummy was created by Nir Khutorsky, a software engineer and competitive bridge player: under-16 world champion and under-21 and under-26 world runner-up with Israel's youth national teams, a member of the Israel Open Bridge Team, and bronze medalist at the 2026 European Team Championships. I experienced firsthand how the gap between theory and practice holds players back, and I built BridgeDummy to be the training tool I wished existed when I was climbing the ranks.
Our Philosophy
Players improve fastest by making real decisions repeatedly. Every puzzle is a genuine bridge scenario with multiple reasonable options, graded by double-dummy analysis. This builds pattern recognition and judgment that goes well beyond convention knowledge.
Our Mission
Every practice session should put a real decision in front of you, grade it against optimal play the moment you commit, and show you how you improve over time.
